Santa’s Been to the Shop (and FREE shipping for MMS Milk Paint!) November 28, 2012
Hello dear lovelies!, true to form, I have a shop update for you. And just in case you’re local, it will hopefully encourage you to visit the shop, for Saturday’s Open House Party! The mimosas would be enough for me…but that’s just me!
Well, along with the wind and rain, came Santa and his eight reindeer! The shop is all decked out! Let me show you around.
The table is decked out with lots of silver and mercury glass.
What better time of year is there than now, for an antique carousel horse?
Friend, Jean Lamoure, delivered this Christmas tree this morning. Already lit and decorated!
These two (contemporary) French Provincial chairs are very comfy!
Have you seen the hutch and desk I just finished?
You can always use a few gifts under $15, right?
I love this portrait from 1946! So sweet! The young lady didn’t look like she was really enjoying herself. I wonder what she’s doing now!
Finally, Saturday afternoon’s free introductory milk paint class is starting to fill. Call 916/514-5272, if you’d like to attend!
Thanks so much for stopping by! How’s your Christmas shopping shaping up? Guess where I’m shopping? Ha!
P.S.: Check out FREE SHIPPING FOR MISS MUSTARD SEED’S MILK PAINT ORDERS OVER $20.00, until the end of the year!! Boy, that Santa sure is generous this year!
Hugs,
Barbara
Barbara, you have some beautiful things in the shop! I love all of the silver and mercury glass!
Always love to see pics of your shop…I’m liking your mercury glass! 😉
I love the mercury glass too. It is all pretty. The carousel horse is great. The shop is looking quite festive !
Love the Horse, we had one.. My Sis and I sold it to a collector, she is the daughter of the Man who started the Crazy Horse monument in SO.DAK…she has over 20…the one we had was a running wooden that was 5 ft in lenght with glass eyes…neither of us had room for it…so just like this one, she will find a luving home
I’ll bet your horse was beautiful!!
Hugs,
B.
Everything looks so festive-getting me in the Christmas Spirit. Have a mimosa for me on Saturday–it’s a little far from Atlanta:)
You’ve got more than your fair share of great shopping there!
Hugs!,
B.
I adore the carousel horse! He wants to come home with me 😉
I’m sure he’d rather be with you, rather than guarding the shop by himself at night!
Cheers!,
B.
Barbara, your shop looks wonderful!!!…so many beautiful things!…So wish I were near!…I love the desk/hutch you painted!…Do not think that will last long in your shop…
Thanks, Shirley! I wish we were all closer!
Hugs,
B.
