Have you ever dreamed of  touring the countryside and shopping the markets of Provence, with a fabulous guide, who knows the region, like the back of her hand?

Well, dream no more! Join our next Vintage Shopping Tour, scheduled for May 8-14th, 2019!

There will be just 12-14 of us women, staying in a charming hotel, in the center of old Aix en Provence. We’ll have all the comforts of home….we’ll, almost!…in walking distance to markets and cafes.  Aix (pronounced “ex”) dates back to Roman times and there’s beautiful architecture around every corner!

This will be my third year, traveling with our California born tour guide, who lives half the year in France!  I can’t wait to go back!  Last year, my dear friend, Karen and I, went a few days early and stayed a few days later, to wrap up my purchases and enjoy a slower pace, post tour.

While there are markets big and small, most markets are on the weekend.  My favorite markets are held in the small villages, where locals, who love to collect, sell their wares.

You wouldn’t think of France for pizza, but it’s really delicious!  Give me some pizza, a crisp salad and a glass of wine, and I’m happy!  I’ll be happy to share my favorite gelato spot, too!

While we’ll boat on the Mediterranean,  and ride through the rolling hills in the countryside, there will be plenty of food, drink and shopping! 

I take extra baggage, to bring back my French treasures.  I call it my “body bag”! The airlines allow baggage, up to 50 pounds in weight, to head home with, on the plane.  You can fit quite a few  French linens, cheese boards and small watercolors, in a big duffle bag, on wheels!

The cost of the adventure is $2560.00 per person, double occupancy.  Or, if you’d prefer a room by yourself, the price is $2960.00. Airfare is not included.
