My head is swirling with all the plans I have and I look forward to sharing my next chapter with you! Think pickleball, golf, painting, Tahoe time, with Mr. Wonderful, thrift shopping and visiting my kids.

What an amazing ride! Over the many years, I’ve  been blessed with you, the most incredible customers on the planet! Thank you for all of your support and love!

Until our paths cross again,

XO, Barbara

Congratulations on your retirement!! Quick question though, will the shop remain open or are you closing your doors as well?

Hi Kendel, Yes, the business will be closing later this spring.

    Hi Barbara,
I am so sad about the store closing, but happy for you and Mr. Wonderful to share some new memorable times together and spend more time with family. There is no other shop like yours…and what is ‘out there’, many are closing as well. Small business is hard work. The beautiful store will always be a legacy. Blessings to you. I’ll be in to check it out a few times before it’s ‘over’. Thank you for all the years of fun shopping and classes!

Thank you, Sharon, for your kind words! I’ll miss the shop I’m sure, but I’ll be making room for other good things. 😘

I understand but so sorry to see you retire. You and your team are so talented and fun to visit. Retirement will be fun for you too. There will never be another women’s meeting place like The Treasured Home.

    • Barbara Bussey on February 5, 2025 at 8:52 am

Thank you, Kandee! It was just what I hoped it would be.

Like so many others, I am very happy for you but also sad that your beautiful shop will be no more. I have learned so much from you and your classes, and have had so much fun with the products, tools, purses, and jewelry from your shop. Enjoy this new chapter in your life and all that retirement offers. You will be missed.

Oh, Susan, what a kind comment! The shop and everyone involved, has kept my heart happy for so long. I’ll still be around, so stay tuned! 😍

Barbara, congratulations on your upcoming retirement! So many times over the years I wish you weren’t so far away. So many of your workshops I wanted to attend. Enjoy the extra time with family and friends and all the new hobbies to explore. Would love to cross paths again!
