I hope your week is off to a stellar start!  We’ll be busy getting the shop ready for this weekend’s Holiday Open House, starting Friday evening, at 5:30!

We’ve been teaching classes at the shop now, for the last five years and love inspiring all of you!  Most of our classes have focused on transforming furniture pieces.  Now, I’d like to expand our class calendar, to include craft and home decor projects, as well!

I’ve known for a long time, that Jill and I can’t do it all!  I’m creating a part time position, for a Creative Director.  The job will start out at about 8 hours a week, expanding up to 16 hours, after the first of the year.

Here are the perfect-world qualities, this mystery person will possess.

• Computer savvy (graphic design/sign making skills a plus)
• Crafty creator who loves to inspire others
• Hi-energy, self-starter, team player

I’m working with a coach who has created class templates, but your ideas are welcome. Job duties would include:

• Class scheduling and posting on-line
• Create graphics to promote classes on-line
• Organize and teach classes

This wonderful addition to our small, but mighty staff, will be able to work one evening, mid-week and Saturday afternoons.  The position pays $12.50 to start, with potential for incentive bonuses.
