Paper Gift Tags, Oh My! July 8, 2011
I had so much fun making gift cards this week, I decided to make some festive gift tags.
Tied to a ribbon, wrapped around some tea towels, for a hostess gift, or used on a gift bags (custom decorated of course), you could probably get away without including a card. But do you dare?
And then, on the other side of course…
Not bad, for a novice! I’m sure you creative types could come up with all sorts of cleverness! The possibilities are endless…buttons, seed beads, rick rack…oh my!
Typically, I’ve used these manila tags to create novel business cards, using stamps. And I love it when something can serve more than one purpose, whether it’s a room, a piece of clothing or a Manila tag!
Speaking of that, I’ve seen beautiful craft paper or wall paper, used to create artwork perfect for a home office, child’s room or bath. Just insert the art paper, in a graphic you love, in a color(s) that compliment the space, into a black or white frame with white matting. Whether alone or in a group of three or four, you’ve created fun visual interest in a room, for very little money!
Now, I had considered decoupaging the refrigerator, but the heat wave has broken! Time to leave the nest!
Stay cool and be well!
