1st Annual Vendor Retreat

Last September, our first vendors moved into the shop. It was a good move!  We now have six lovely creatives on board and their unique perspectives add more interest to the shop. Since the Tahoe Fixer is almost fixed, I thought it would be a great place for a get-away.  I think it’s safe to say we all had a great time! Our Vintage Market has a wonderful new addition…Zina Sheya.  Zina has been a hard working, creative soul and interior designer in Northern California, for years. Our delivery arrived today and we are all stocked up! The best news of all, is a new product! This is a new product, called Better with Age, that I added on to my order.  It easily ages wood, in just one step! Just 1 More Day, Until the Spring Bazaar!

Tomorrow’s the day!  The 2nd Annual Spring Bazaar is happening tomorrow, Sunday, 10-3!   The shop was bustling yesterday, as vendors brought in new treasures!  Today, I expect more of the same and we have 8 students scheduled for this afternoon’s class. I hope you’ll stop by and just see what’s new and beautiful. New jewelry… I don’t know how this happened, but the shop is so full and so is the back storage room.  I have got to sell some stuff! See that red tag?  I can’t remember when I last parked in the garage and we have another wonderful vendor moving in…

Downstairs, at the Tahoe Fixer

Happy May to you!  I hope all is well, in your world! Mr. Wonderful and I took a drive up to Tahoe, last Sunday, to check on the reclaimed wood flooring installation. This photo was taken in the living area, before the ting oil was applied, which will deepen the tones.  We chose ting oil over a man made sealant, like verathane, because ting oil is easier to reapply, at a later date.  The only downside, is that it takes a few weeks for the smell to dissipate. The living area looks huge, without furniture in it.  The kitchen island…
