Our Remodel Is for Sale! October 19, 2017
1504 Sebastian Way, Sacramento, CA 95864
It’s official! Mr. Wonderful and I are not going to be hosting our own HGTV house flipping show!
In an effort to simplify our lives a bit, we decided to sell this investment property, nearly a year ago! But first, it needed some love! We spent so much time loving this house, that I think you’d call it a slow-motion dance, more than a flip!
Never-the-less, it’s finished and should go into the MLS listing, in the next few days! Above, is the view into the kitchen, from the entry way.
In the kitchen, we replaced fluorescent lighting with recessed, painted the cabinets and added hardware, replaced the counter tops, with this beautiful quartz, and replaced the dishwasher, stove and microwave with new stainless steel appliances.
For a 1292 square foot home, it’s a very spacious kitchen, with lots of cabinet space.
Notice anything from the shop? I used to stage home’s, for sale, so I did a mini-staging, on this one!
Behind the bi-fold closet doors, is the indoor laundry. The dining area is adjacent to a tiled area that could be used for a den or home office.
The door takes you to the back patio. The whole house gets nice light. We updated all of the ceiling lights and installed four ceiling fans in the house.
There’s a good sized patio, off of the main living area and there are no 2-story homes, looking in the backyard, so it feels private.
Another view of the living room, from the entry hall. Mabel the cow, says “hi”!
One of our best decisions, was to remove the very dated lava rock, that was covering the brick fireplace. We were so happy to find brick underneath! It made for a huge improvement!
The whole interior got a fresh coat of white paint, which really updates the whole place. We also replaced the carpet in the living area and bedrooms. There’s tile flooring, everywhere else. The interior doors have been replaced with new paneled doors, as well.
The tiled hall, leads to the three bedrooms and bath.
Each bedroom has a new ceiling fan, to keep things cool, in the summer.
I’m happy with how the bathroom turned out. We replaced the tile, bath tub, sink and toilet. New faucets and shower head, of course. I enjoyed picking out the tile and think that the new owners will appreciate having practically a brand new bath.
The listed price is $315,000. If interested, contact Bob Bussey, (yes, Mr. Wonderful is a licensed real estate broker) at 916/508-9226.
You did a beautiful job! Very tastefully done and it should sell very quickly!!
Good luck with the sale…you did a great job with the remodel!!!
