New at The Treasured Home February 25, 2013
Bob and I just got home from seeing Silver Linings Playbook, and while I loved the characters, it was a wild movie! My family has nothing on this crazy group! I think I’ll just count my blessings, after all!
Great news! One of my first customers, Linda, is bringing in a whole class, to paint furniture on Sunday afternoon! I told her that as long as she got at least 5 people together, that we could have a class anytime she wanted. This is going to be fun!
I don’t know about Mr. Wonderful, but my back is just now recovering, after bringing in this beautiful Chinese cabinet. Bob added the shelves, since it was once a TV cabinet. I love the old red lacquered finish! ($425)
He also power-sprayed this shelf, with Maison Blanche’s “Wrought Iron”, in just one coat! It’s a great display for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint!
You know you can paint metal with milk or chalk-based paint, right?
Looks great, painted with Maison Blanche’s new turquoise color, called “Colette”. ($95)
Our new cookbook and reversible placemat line is selling well, so be sure to check them out, along with the new jewelry pieces, when you come by next time. No excuses, now! Just strap that jet-pack on a come on down! Don’t forget the helmet!
The store looks great! Looking forward to Sunday!
Me too! See you then!
Your shops always looks wonderful and love the red cabinet…so nice that Mr. Wonderful is there to lend you a helping hand!!…Great new color that Colette!
Have fun on Sunday!
Thanks, Shirley! I couldn’t do it without him!
Did not know chalk paint covered metal! Your shop looks great….love that red cabinet! So glad you two got to steal away for a movie…how fun! 😉
Thanks, my dear! My girlfriend jokes that she’s going to start a fan club for the leading guy! I can’t even remember his name. Don’t tell Bob, but I might just join the fan club. Quite a doll, he is!
You should sell your Mom’s cookbook too!!!! I still have it & enjoy the memories!
great idea to paint the chandelier! gives it a totally unique and different look!
Thanks Jessica! The light needed a little pizazz and this helped!
