It’s Demo Day, this Saturday…Sign up now! January 21, 2025
Hello, gorgeous!
I hope this finds you well! Mr. Wonderful and I got out of Dodge, Monday afternoon, to head up to Tahoe. I hadn’t been here since October! Way too long!
I snapped a picture of Bob taking Micah on his morning walk. Just a beautiful day! After a few chores around the house, we headed to a couple of favorite thrift stores. Even Bob enjoys this. Not sure about Micah.
I scored two French Provençal night stands, in great shape, for $5.00 each! They’ll look great painted in Fusion Mineral Paint.
Demo Day!
If you’ve been around here for long, you know that we host a free demonstration day. This Saturday, we’ll show you alol about Iron Orchid Designs, from 11-12. You’ll have a chance to see how easy it is to make a decorative mold and apply an IOD transfer. Our goal is to take the mystery out of this beautiful line!
The possibilities are endless! If you use Facebook, there’s a great IOD community called “Iron Orchid Designs Creative Tribe”, where you can get all sorts of inspiration!
If you can join us, please register online here!

After lunch, I’ll be painting a piece of furniture, with
Fusion Mineral Paint, from 1-2.
We have sixty colors of this super hard-drying paint that’s an easy to apply, self-leveling indoor/outdoor paint that’s safe to use indoors.
I’ll share the most important tips and tricks, I’ve collected over the last 13 or 14 years, while painting my latest project.
Both Demo Day sessions are free. We do ask that you register online, so we can reserve a spot for you.
If the Fusion Mineral Paint session inspires you, think about registering for our Paint Your Own Piece workshop, the following Saturday, February 1st. We’ve been teaching this workshop forever and love seeing the excitement, as folks leave, ready to tackle a bigger project on their own!

Are you ready for a trip to Provence, this fall?
I’m hoping to schedule a tour for eight of us women, for a
Vintage French Market Tour!
We’d be based out of a charming, family owned hotel in the heart of a beautiful town, called Aix en Provence.
The itinerary has not been finalized yet. Right now, I’m exploring your interest level. I’ve traveled with Jill, our bi-lingual guide, many times in Provence and it’s always been a wonderful experience! Her tours are mid-priced. We won’t be staying at the Ritz, but everything will be well done, by a delightful woman and her small dog, who joins her on tours now.
The time frame we’re looking at is 8 to 10 days, somewhere between mid-September to mid-October. The weather should be mild and beautiful, as Aix in Provence is in the south of France, near the Mediterranean.
I wanted to find out how many of you might be interested in learning more. If that’s you, please hit REPLY, to this email and provide me with your name, email address and phone number.
Until we meet again, Bon jour!
XO, Barbara
