Figgy & Flax, Meet Annie Sloan May 13, 2012

Hello all!,

I met two darling young women at today’s Sacramento Antiques Fair.

These two lovelies are embarking on a new adventure, selling their beautifully painted furniture and unique treasures. If there had been a prize given, for most beautifully designed booth, these two, Heather and Ashley of Figgy & Flax would have been the winners, hands down!

They’re followers of Miss Mustard Seed and have learned lots of tips from her on painting furniture. The branding, display and big smiles, are all their own.

I’m wishing them oodles of fun and success!

What a talented pair. Haven’t tried Annie Sloan chalk paint yet, but am always amazed at the transformations…

Annie Sloan wont change your life, but it is a bit addicting!

Those are two talented ladies! I loved their booth too and I’ve copied the picture of the way they wrapped their lavendar with moss and were those bed springs? Very pretty!

I missed the bed springs, but loved the lavender too! I didn’t get a chance to ask about their backgrounds but they must have done this before, somewhere!

Aren’t they great? I looked at their card and there’s no number…and their domain name is not active yet. I gave them my card and hope they see the post!

Fun stuff. Sunday School is done until September, I’d love to go with you some time to the Sunday antiques fair. I’ll tag along and carry your stuff if you want!

You bet! The next market should be June 10th.

    Hi Barbara!
Thank you SO very much for featuring us on your blog. We had so much fun at the Sacramento Antique Faire yesterday and were very moved by all of the positive feedback and support from people such as yourself. This was our first faire and we did not know what to expect but after yesterday’s experience we definitely hope to do more. Our website and blog will be up and running in the next two weeks. We really enjoyed meeting you yesterday and hope to see you again in the near future. Thanks again for your post and support!
    XO Ashley & Heather
