Creating a Design Plan for Your Home July 8, 2012
Hello dear friend!,
I just had the most fun, on Friday afternoon, at a design consultation, here in town! While I don’t have those fancy letters after my name, designating a design degree, I have years of hands on experience and truly love helping people love their homes!
Mary Clare just moved into a smaller home and was trying to create a game plan. Without oodles of surplus cash, we prioritized projects, selected paint colors to try, and talked about all things “Home”. We covered a lot in 2 hours. I was so pleased, to get her letter!:
Hello Barbara,
Thank you for sharing so many wonderful ideas with me today.
I have samples of all the paint colors we selected plus one additional: Poetic Plum. Even the person who mixed the colors commented on what great colors they are! You were right about the sample sizes! and they are on sale! (Sherman Williams) I am excited to get them on poster boards and then on to the walls! Just love them.
I am ordering the fabric swatch and found two others of interest: B1-028 Amy Butler Midwest Modern Optic Blossom and UP-038 Jacquard Elephant. I still love the Jaquard Oasis though! (no swatch available for the Amy Butler).
Wow. You are so talented. You offer just the kind of service I need…brainstorming and telling me what to do and how to do it!
Thank you!,
Mary Claire
Of course, her letter made my day! (Hope I’m not still blushing!) If you are thinking about updating a room, or your entire home, let’s get started with a $150, 2-hour, in home consultation.
I can’t wait to see Mary Clare’s home, as she makes it her own!
Have a beautiful day!,
Barbara
Your talent being recognized so thoughtfully by your client is well deserved, Barbara!
