Bonjour! Here are the details of our French adventure! December 17, 2022
Loire Valley, April 12-17!
I know you have a lot going on with Christmas right around the corner, but I wanted to get this information out to you, as soon as I had it, so you can determine if this is a trip you’d like to join in on.
I took the photo above, (2019) of a fishing village, in Provence…but wait until you see the photos and plans Jill has for us, (click on the PDF below) of the Loire Valley! Oh my gosh! I can see why this region is her new “heart throb”!
Creating an itinerary like this, is sort of like orchestrating a musical. There are so many moving parts and Jill is a master at managing it all. I’m most excited about the proposed lodging… our home base, if you will. It’s a four star hotel, built in the 1600’s, that was once a family’s chateau…so it isn’t a huge hotel and the space is limited. The challenge is that we are late booking this spot and the following week has already been taken. Bottom line, unlike other tours that I’ve started planning in the fall, we’re a bit behind schedule and there’s no time to waste.
Be still my heart! Take a look and see what I mean.

In order to secure this chateau, before someone else does, Jill will need to get a $750.00 deposit. Space is of course on a first come, first served basis.
We’ll travel in a small, intimate group of 8 to 10 women. No tour buses for us! (I can’t even imagine!)
Once the details are confirmed and we have a group that’s ready to travel, I’ll send you my ideas for an optional few days in Paris, after our adventure with Jill.
If you’ve traveled to Europe before, you know that the flight can be exhausting. So, I try to arrive a day before, allowing me to rest up and adjust to the time change. Travel insurance is a must, for me and AAA might be one company for you to check out.
I was 55 years old, when I was first introduced to France and found it as easy to fall in love with, as I expected. Thirteen years and six visits later, I know that I want to travel and see as much of this beautiful world as I can, while I can.
