New at The Treasured Home June 26, 2013
Well, what a difference a year makes! About this time last year, I was making 4th of July pinwheels and banners. Fortunately, I saved last year’s efforts, since I’ve been painting more than paper crafting.
Youse recall that I said “Adios” to Maison Blanche a while back. This was my first project, using “Locally Grown” Old Town Paints!
While nothing feels better than a hand waxed finish, you’ve gotta love polyacrylic, followed by a dark glaze!
Check out this sweet vanity stool!
It had that curvy business around the edge of the cushion, which I had never tackled before. Thanks to my staple gun and glue gun, everything turned out fine at O-K Corral!
It goes perfectly with this vintage vanity.
I got my grain sack on again and made a new table runner for the shop. $125
I also just received some fun entertaining accessories, perfect for outdoors.
Guess what I did this morning? Yep, I cleaned silver!
More fun than a barrel of monkeys!
Barbara I love seeing the pices you have redone ! Adore the Vanity stool and your desk with the gold drawer interior!

You know cleaning silver is always fun, Shirley! Actually I just dump a bunch of Tarn-x Into a little bucket, and rinse all of it in there. Drying and sorting is the toughest part! Thanks for stopping by!
