Happy St. Patrick’s Day! March 16, 2023
Are you feeling Irish, today?
I’m what I’ve heard to be Heinz 57. According to my limited ancestry research, I’m mostly of Western European origin. There’s a dab of Irish in me, but who needs that, to enjoy corned beef and cabbage?
I remember as a kid, going to Catholic school, there was no green on my uniform and I had no cute pony tail with a green ribbon, like some lucky girls. ???? So, a few of us would say we had green underwear, knowing that it was a safe bet, no one would see my knickers! Silly story, but what the heck!Candle Sale!
This week, in honor of you Irish, our house-poured, natural soy candles are 25% off, or $17.99!
Long lasting, clean burning and great gifts, while they last!
I.O.D. Recall
The IOD sisters just let us know that their two new transfers, Bungalow and Millot’s Pages, in the latest Spring Release, have been found to be defective. Apparently, the factory changed the production process a smidge and these two transfers aren’t releasing as easily as they should. If you purchased either transfer from the shop, please return them to us for a full credit. We’ll let you know when “good” versions are back in stock. ALL other transfers work perfectly!
Our next project…
Linda’s entry table, sold quickly this week! I was happy to find another entry table, to update soon!
Before:
What will the “after” look like? I love furniture painting and look forward to updating this pretty piece!
Snow Update…
I’m sure you were dying to get a Tahoe snow update…right? Well, here’s a photo of our little back yard, with snow up to the upstairs roof, after the roof was cleared! Amazing!
Workshops…
You’ll find pictures and more info about each workshop…plus be able to sign up for classes, Here!
Family time…
As I mentioned last time, we’re inVirginia, visiting our son and his family, this week. It’s so great, to see what committed parents, these two are! I got a kick out of this picture Nina sent me, last night. Andrew’s reading to James and apparently they do this often. I love it!
Well, that’s all the really big news, for now. The Shop Sisters have been unpacking lots of new arrivals, including lightweight ponchos, like we stocked before Christmas, but these are in lighter softer beiges, grays and pinks, for spring. I’ll do a “round-up” of new arrivals, after I return!
Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
XO, Barbara
