Hello friends!,

Bob and I had a 24-hour get-away, up to Tahoe and got the boat out before nasty weather arrives.  We were gone all of about 24 hours, but it was good to be there, even for a short time.

Bob made his last row of the season and then after he went out for a spin, he returned for me and Micah.  There’s nothing better than being on the water…besides shopping at The Treasured Home, of course!  🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ll tell you about where you should take you next adventure, for lunch, but first, I’d like to tell you what’s new.🥰

Aren’t these adorable?  They’re made from heavy duty canvas.  The center pillow is removable and has a zipper.  I guess that means you can wash the canvas pillow case, in case junior has some unmentionables on his paws!

Now for your get-away…

Are you ready to get out of Dodge?  Well, here’s an idea! Just a fun day trip! First of all, you pick up a cute outfit at the shop on Friday, so you’re ready to head out early on Saturday! 😆😆😆.  Make a day of it!

Pictured above is Sunnyside Resort and Restaurant.  Have you been?  It’s a treasured landmark on the west shore of Lake Tahoe.  It’s been a place to take visitors for years and years!  It’s been around since I started going to a tahoe as a teenager!  Wow, that’s like forever!

Anyway, we had dinner there, on the deck, last night.  We both had their hamburgers and Mr. Wonderful is still talking about how good it was!  You can make a reservation or just walk in.  The view is spectacular!

After lunch, you could drive to Emerald Bay, which is so gorgeous!  There are lots of options, but you could head back and take a walk through historic downtown Truckee.  Lots of fun shops and restaurants.  It’s usually packed during the summer, but hopefully not so bad, this time of year.  Get yourself an ice cream cone and do some people watching!

On your way home, with your bestie, you’ll be sayin’ “now wasn’t that fun?  We should do that more often!
