What’s Up at the Shop? September 21, 2017
Greetings, dear lovelies!,
We had our Meet & Greet, with my favorite tour guide, last week! 8 of the 12 spots, for this wonderful Vintage Shopping Tour have been filled! If you’re thinking about joining us, I’d encourage you to decide soon!
Next week, after I get finished moving my French pieces into the shop, I’m going to focus on airline options. I’ll let you know what I find out. I’ve seen all sorts of options for round-trip tickets, starting around $800.
I am over-the-moon (remember the cow?) about the changes coming to the shop! It just feels so fresh, new and spacious! This Sunday, you’ll have to peel me from the ceiling, as my French babies will be delivered to the shop. I haven’t been this excited about anything in a long time and it feels wonderful! I can’t wait to show you around!!
As you know, we’re getting ready for our big whoop-de-do, celebrating our 5th Anniversary and the shop’s new expansion.
Mr. Wonderful was my general contractor and he and his crew got the project finished in record time!
The new space is looking great! Now, all but one new vendor has moved in! Pat will be moving in, October 5th, after she returns from Round Top, Texas! Have you been to Round Top, yet? It’s one of the Wonders of the Antique World! Stay tuned!
Yesterday, Diane, the Stencil Queen, stenciled SIX drop clothes, to hang as drapes, at one end of our new space, disguising our storage area. Bob is going to install a galvanized pipe to hang them from!
We used anything we could, to dry the stenciled cloths on, yesterday.
We are just starting to unpack some of our purchases made at market. We hope to be your gift resource, in the coming holiday season!
Until we meet again, stay safe, dry and happy. God bless all of those facing tragedy, due to the terrible hurricanes. May brighter days be right around the corner, for you and yours.
What a great job you have done with the Treasured Home shop. Loved you “celebration” and always look forward to coming in to see what is new!
