Twilight In the Garden May 18, 2012

It’s 8 p.m., on Friday night. My favorite time of my favorite day. May is a wonderful time of the year, here in northern California…before the string of 100 degree days hit. 20120518-201823.jpg
You may recall, I found this new outdoor umbrella at World Market. The floral fabric is colorful and kinda fun!
I’m hoping Wonder Dog remembers that the cushions are not chew toys!

The hydrangeas are getting ready to pop. I have four more waiting to be planted. I got the Everbloom this time, that are supposed to have two or three blooms each season. 20120518-202419.jpg20120518-202430.jpg
This teak bench could use another sanding. I never have to search too far for things to do.

Here’s my pretend Quail family!20120518-202700.jpg20120518-202738.jpg
This is a perfect night for a fire in the fireplace. There’s a gentle breeze and it’s about 70° outside.

We brought in this cross, after my mom passed away nine years ago. I say a prayer for her each time I walk past.20120518-203013.jpg
Listening to water in the fountain always relaxes me.

Hope you’re having a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!,

Hydrangeas are some of my favorite flowers. When I lived in Yokohama we had so many of them every June.
