When I first started painting furniture, many moons ago, there was a lot of trial and error! I eventually had a chance to learn from some pretty masterful painters, but it would have saved a lot of frustration, if I had learned first and then painted!  Don’t get me wrong, nothing is better than practice, when it comes to just about any new endeavor, but having a foundation to work from is certainly helpful!
