Sunflower Painting Party! (Sept. 26th at the shop!) August 16, 2013
Now you know, I live, breathe and dream about furniture painting, but a woman of substance needs some variety! Don’t you think?
We’ve got a very fun evening planned, Thursday, Seotember 26th!, at The Treasured Home!.
Niki Gamboa is a woman who loves to paint, whether it’s a canvas or kitchen cabinet. She will pre-sketch each canvas, to save time (and ensure a masterpiece) and guide the group through the picture painting process!
You may have seen her teaching class at a couple of wineries in the region.
Patti and I will be in charge of serving wine and appetizers! Your contributions are always welcome, but certainly not required! (Gotta fuel those creative juices!)
We have an example of this work of art on display in the shop, in case you’re in the area. You’ll need to make your reservation on-line, or at the shop, to save your spot.
All supplies are included, so there’s no need to bring a thing!
Coming up soon, is our next Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint class, Saturday, August 24th! This would be a great time to try out any of the new colors and see the new Milk Paint Sample Bar! One ounce samples sell for $6.00 and give you about a half a cup of paint to experiment with, or mix with another color, to create your own custom shade!
See our current class schedule for September, right here!
And don’t forget our new store hours, as of September 1st!
Thursday, Friday: 10:30-5:30
Saturday, Sunday: 10:30-4:30
If you need paint for a project, on another day, just call my cell phone, at 916/203-3060, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
Barbara, I wish I could attend the Sunflower painting group!! Our Kansas State Flower!

You could teach the class, Karena! I hope you are feeling well today. Sending good thoughts!
These are the best parties. My girlfriends and I have done this several times and we just have a blast! I love sunflowers.
Hi Debbie,
Great to hear from you! I hope we have lots of interest! It’s going to be fun!
Take care,
Barbara
