New at The Treasured Home October 10, 2014
Hello there!,
I hope you’re doing well, this beautiful Saturday! I’m getting ready for a full house, at this afternoon’s class. Yay!
I just wanted to show off some new treasures at the Home…
I’ve found a man who builds furniture, by hand, from solid Alder planks. It’s reasonably priced, simple, but solid and I love that it’s real wood and not pressed or veneer. I’ll be putting a few pieces in the Tahoe house, once it’s restored. I don’t have room to stock everything, but will have a few pieces on hand and take special orders.
This great looking bench, is $250 raw, or $295, painted with milk paint, or stained, in the color of your choice. I’m not positive, but I think it’s 50 inches long. I’ll get specifics on this.
This coffee table is 50″ x 30″ x 18″. Raw, it’s $350, stained, as pictured, it’s $395, painted in your choice of milk paint colors, $429.
This is the console table… same solid wood and same pricing as the coffee table.
We have Miss Mustard Seed’s Look Book in stock and will soon have a cool Christmas book with lots of tutorials for decorating your home.
Speaking of Christmas…we were, weren’t we? We’re making hand made wrapping paper at the shop…just because. $9.50 for 3 yards x 35″
This gorgeous round table is the best deal in town! 52″ round table…comfortably seats 4, but can fit 6, when needed…$495! The chairs have rush seats, in perfect condition. We repainted the frames, in our Linen chalk based paint and just used a light wax on them. Really well made, quality furniture…$495 for four chairs.
Did you know we have cards? Really fun cards…not gross and disgusting…just fun…$2.95 each.
This leather topped card table is really sweet. It’s old, but in great shape and has little trays that pull out, to set your Scotch and Soda’s on!
These “shrugs” (sounds like something the Smurfs would wear!) were a huge hit at the Mercy event, Care Begins With Me event last week. They come in Black, Mauve and soon we’ll have a Cream colored version in stock.
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall…who’s the fairest of them all? We had a lot of fun trying out a new layered paint technique on this beveled mirror, 2 x 3′, this week. Quite the show-stopper!
Here’s a darling piece, with great lines, at an outstanding price. I think it would be perfect for an entry way, or in a master bedroom, as a writing table or small vanity. Table and chair: $177
I wish we had more of these vintage drying racks, to make these fun signs with, but this is the last of them.
Well, I see a few of you nodding off, so I’ll wrap this up, for now. Be good. I hear Santa’s now using drones to keep track of all of us. They don’t eat all the hay, like those hungry reindeer, that complain about bad weather.
