Lots of great news! August 11, 2025

Hello, gorgeous!,

I hope you’re doing great!  We came up to the lake, Friday evening for a short visit, with dear friends and head back tomorrow.
I’m watching a fellow, kayaking, with his black lab in the front seat.  Micha won’t put his toe in the water, let alone, go kayaking!

He was busy watching Bob, out on the boat. Bob continues to feel more like himself, every day. 🙂

FINAL –  FINAL Closeout Sale!

Sat., August 23, 10:00-3:00

(At the old shop space, in Fair Oaks)

While we’ve donated a ton of inventory to the Renew Thrift Store, in Roseville, there’s still more to go!

The prices will be ridiculous!!  I just want it to go to a good home, so if that’s you, we (Darlene and I) hope you can stop by.

Fusion color samples for a dollar, Stain and Finishing Oil, $6…normally over $30.

Old vintage windows, $5-10 each, Iron Orchid Design transfers, stamps, inlays, $5-$7!

Prices will start at a dollar and I think there will even be a Free table!

It won’t be anything fancy, so please bring your own bags. We no longer have a business register, so please bring cash or Venmo.

________

Drum Roll, please!!
We’re so excited to tell you that we have a new tenant, Nikki, who is going to turn the old shop space into a full-time creative wonderland and workshop, event space and art studio, for both children and adults!

She’ll get access September 1st and plans to open October 1st. I’ll have more information for you soon, but I think you’ll love Nikki!

____________
I’ve decided to consolidate my smaller original booth space, at the Antique Trove into the larger space. I’ll need to move out by the end of August, so I’ve been lowering prices, in case you have a chance to visit!

I’ve turned the dining room at home, into my holiday staging area. Ha!  I want to have everything ready to go, when I return from France on October 1st.
While I’m gone, Bob will enjoy the company of Tinker (a retired trauma nurse) and her husband, Greg. They’re dear friends, who lived in Carmichael for years, before moving to Texas. They’ll have a chance to see their son and old friends, including Bob! 🙂

_______

Well, kids, that’s it for now.
Never forget, Jesus loves you to the moon and back! I think you’re pretty wonderful, too!

XO, Barbara
