Introducing Amy Howard at Home! October 30, 2013
I opened The Treasured Home one year ago, this week! I love my customers and am so appreciative of your support!
The chalk style paint has been such a huge part of my business. Yet, it’s been harder than I thought it would be, to find a company that would be a good fit for me and my customers. I think that I have finally hit gold!
Amy Howard is a very talented interior designer, from Nashville, Tennessee, who has rolled out an extensive furniture refinishing product line, this past year.
I’m sitting at the airport, after spending the last three days, with Amy and her amazing team, learning new techniques, that I can’t wait to teach you about!
The One- Step color pallet is really beautiful! And, it sells for $29.95!
Notice the shine? This is the spray lacquer color pallet! Yes, I said spray lacquer!
This is Amy Howard’s new front door, sprayed with her lacquer finish.
The line also includes the Toscana collection, which is an organic paint powder. The pigments are “mined” in France and comes in some lovely historical colors.
Yes, we ‘ll continue to carry the Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint line. The Toscana line is a more involved process than the Miss Mustard Seed line and will appeal to a different group of furniture painters.
Check out this layered finish, with a beautiful gray over black.
Have you ever gilded a piece of furniture with gold leaf? Believe me, I’m thrilled to know how to do this and I’ll be showing you, in a class or deminar, starting in January.
January? Yes, January. I’ll be spending the next two months perfecting my technique and focusing on gifts and Christmas decor!
Speaking of Christmas, I hope you’ll join us for our Holiday Open House on November 14th, from 6-9 p.m.
After getting a good night’s sleep, in my own bed, I’ll be back at the shop tomorrow, putting the Amy Howard product line on the shelf! I’ll be demonstrating it on Friday, if you’d like to check it out!
Well, my flight’s ready to take off, so I had better run!
Congrats on your anniversary!!
Congratulations! One year! I’m really proud of you and Mr. Wonderful for all you have accomplished…xxx
Thanks, Jane! I wish I could just absorb everything you know about running a shop! This is what they call “on the job training”!
Congrats on the anniversary! Sounds like a great new product line for you and your shop! 😉
Great line…I met her at the High Point Spring Market…wonderful paint!
