Greetings, princess!

I hope you had a relaxing 3-day weekend!  It’s Monday evening, here at home and Bob’s watching Monday Night Football.  I’m feeling good, after a productive day, getting stuff done!

Before I forget…

We have Democracy Straight Leg jeans on Sale!  I don’t know how I managed it, but I ordered way more of this style, than I intended…sizes 2-14.  

The sale applies to everything on this rack.  Jeans and jackets are all $49.99! I wear this style often.  It has a wee bit of distressing, but in my humble opinion, the straight leg style makes your leg look longer and looks nice with boots or flats.

And then…

I met the window washer at the shop this morning.  (I know you wanted to know!)  Usually he just does the outside, since moving stuff away from the windows is a big deal.  Today, he did the whole enchilada!  I figured that while I had the place torn apart, I might as well mix it up.

I had been thinking about moving clothing away from the windows, since it blocks the light. I was a one woman moving company, doing a lot of pushing and pulling, but I’m happy with the results!

Last week…

I completed this dresser from the ‘30’s.  I painted the body in Fusion’s Cathedral Taupe and the drawer fronts in a wash of Bellwood and Algonquin mixed with water, 50/50.  It’s been sold, but it was great getting a paint brush in my hand.  On to the next project!
