Catching Up August 16, 2014
Whenever I take on a new project, I sometimes go a little hog wild!
That certainly happened, when I opened The Treasured Home, almost two years ago! Don’t get me wrong. I love the place. I’m at peace there.
But, there’s always a price to pay, when one thing in your life screams for attention, on a daily basis!
Yesterday, I took some time for the house…and me. The poor thing has been neglected.
Need any fresh herbs? No? Can’t say I blame you!
I tackled the spider webs, that were hell-bent on taking over the place.
I won the battle, but I know that they’re planning a return visit soon!
Best of all, I knew that Jill and Lynda were at the shop and more than capable of holding down the fort!
Hiring Jill, as my right-hand-woman, who knows and can do all, was one of the best decisions I could have made this year! And Diane, Patti and Lynda always go a step beyond, when they work at the shop!
Mark your calendars:
Paint Therapy, every Thursday, 11-4, for returning students only, to fine tune your painting skills, with support and supplies, when you need them.
Girls Night Out, September 10th, 4-6:30 p.m. Come see the new jewelry and gifts, while taking advantage of end of summer close outs. Wine and nibbles will be served…Raffle Prizes, too!
I had better get off to the shop! Come see me!
