Hello Friends!,
Painting Classes on Saturday!
The weekend is fast approaching and we still have plenty of room in both Introductory Furniture Painting Classes!
10 a.m.: Maison Blanche chalk-based furniture paint, creates a creamy finish, that sticks to anything without stripping or priming!
1 p.m.: Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint is another Eco-friendly paint that naturally self-distresses for a chippy look. No prep is needed for either paint line, besides a thorough cleaning.
RSVP for either class, by calling 916/514-5272, or by registering on-line.
Taste-test Black and White Shortbread cookies, from the new “Gathering of Friends cookbooks!
Dressed for spring!
Our fruitless pear trees are just starting to blossom at home, which tells me spring is on its way. I’m starting to reflect the new season, with changes to the look of the store. 🙂
These sweet vintage Virginia glass pieces ($14), are great for displaying buds on the table!
The Queen’s Jewels are arriving!
You may have heard that Queen E. hasn’t been feeling too well. I told her now was the time to start sending me my inheritance. The place should be secured by an armed guard, but what the heck!
Painting and more painting!
There’s no shortage of furniture in que for for painting! I also have 8 dining chairs, a vanity and mirror, buffet and coffee table, just to mention a few of the things ready for the brush. If you’re looking for anything, let me know! I can paint it any color you like!
Just stopped by to say hello…you are certainly keeping busy! Good for you ~ Ann
Thanks, Ann! I feel like I’ve got adult ADD! Not sure what project to work on first! Never a dull moment.
Well, honestly if I lived closer I’d come! You asked about me…hubby and I are retired…early 60’s…three grown sons…love to garden, really good at putzing, and our new hobby is shoveling! Enjoy your day! 😉
Snow, eh? Clever, aren’t I. I’ve never had to deal with that, but it sounds like a real workout. Be careful!
