News from the shop! February 22, 2024
Hello, beautiful!
After being gone for a week, visiting my daughter and her family, in New York, I’m back.
We can talk about the joys of air travel another time, but right now, I need some love!
We have two upcoming workshops that hardly anyone has signed up for! If you could see me now, you’d see a sad face! It’s not a pretty thing!
Here’s the scoop,,,,,
The first workshop is the Sunflower Box, on March 2nd at 1:00, $45.
You’ll apply a paint wash to the box and then make a sunflower mould, using Iron Orchid Designs moulds and paper clay. Sure, there are other moulds to choose from and we’re flexible…kinda! Either way you’ll leave with a decorative 12 x 6” box and be a mould expert!
The second workshop is the Wooden Book Box, with a top-secret compartment! This class is on March 9th at 1:00. $60.
It’s a little bit longer class, because we’ll do decoupage, paint and moulds. Lots to learn! Again, if you aren’t into pink, we’ve got lots of options, to customize this workshop for you!
You can sign up for any of our workshops, in the shop, or online here!
And then…
We’re starting to transition into Spring and I’m so ready! I love updating displays and plan to have some fun, on Monday, when the shop’s closed. For now, I’ll just share some photos I took this afternoon…
Tennis, anyone? How about pickleball?
New books and serving papers…
It may not be everyone’s “cup of tea”, but we love cow hides and hand-picked these when we were at market.
We have some new lighter-weight sweaters and colorful scarves, too!
These baskets just arrived, along with new, beautiful tea towels.
The latest issue of My French Country Cottage is in stock, too!
Here’s my latest paint project. Mr. Wonderful made sure everything is in working order and did all the hard stuff. Now I get to paint!
She’s going to be beautiful!
Well, friends…
It’s nearly midnight, Thursday, and this girl’s is pooped! Sweet dreams, to you and yours!
Until we meet again,
XO, Barbara
