Hello again!

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve checked in! Where does the time go? That’s a silly question!  I know that there are some of you that have somehow managed to find 36 hours in a day…while the rest of us, get a measly 24 hours a day.  You know who you are!

Girlfriend time…

Friendship is a true blessing.  While I tend to over-book my to-do list, the older I get, the more I understand friendship isn’t to be taken for granted. My counselor-sister once compared friendship to a bank account.  If you don’t make deposits, you’ll soon run out of withdrawals.  In other words, you need to put the time in, to keep the relationship alive.  I guess the same formula applies to family, spouses and children, too.

So when I had a chance to visit my dear friends in Texas, I didn’t mind getting up in the middle of the night, to catch a flight and head their way.

I got back late last night, so this morning was about unpacking, laundry, watering and attacking outdoor spider webs, before heading into the shop.  The business of life!

New arrivals…

Now, don’t expect pretty pictures…because you’ll be disappointed!  So here goes…

We received our first Democracy Jean order in a long time!  The white girlfriend jeans I’ve been waiting for, finally arrived!  Blue denim girlfriend jeans should be in soon!

We also received Democracy’s straight leg jeans and indigo denim Bermuda shorts.  More to come!

Thankfully, Mr. Wonderful was an ace at building, with his Erector Set, as a young boy.  I think it helped him get started on this new display shelf, this afternoon.

(On a different, but related subject, I’d like to make styrofoam packaging illegal!  As Bob was unpacking the 4,012 parts to this thing, little bits of styrofoam floated everywhere! Bob promises that the project will be finished before the shop opens in the morning.)

These are table runners!  The last of a back order, placed in January! We are officially the Table Runner Capitol of the Word! It’s true!

Of course we love our paper clay, for creating moulds, but this product turns from liquid to solid resin in about 10 minutes and is perfect for super detailed moulds. It’s like magic!

More beautiful pictures! Pillows in their wrappers!  So impressive! Trust me, these neutral beauties are going to steal your heart, when we release them from their plastic wrap! Just you wait!

Last, but not least!  Gorgeous wind chimes!  Try not to get too excited, by this amazing photo!  They should be out and on display, by Thursday.
