Hello sweetness!

I hope your week is sailing by, on water smooth as glass! Isn’t that how it should always be? In a perfect world and all?!

Speaking of smooth water, I posted a couple of pictures on Facebook, of my new love for kayaking.  Never mind we’ve had the kayaks now for three years!

What’s changed is my attitude!   Before, I would mentally map out a goal for how far I wanted to go.  Like it was my job…a chore…a self inflicted responsibility.

I didn’t plan on it, but this week, when I got into the kayak, I told myself that I was going to take my time. It was my first time out this summer.  I gave myself permission, that if I wanted to stop rowing, then I would.  I wasn’t in a race or a competition.  By taking away my usual “Type A” expectations, I found myself enjoying myself so much more!  By the third morning, I had a mellow piano instrumental, playing on my phone, as I rowed.  Before I knew it, the hour had passed, leaving me feeling a wonderful contentment and looking forward to next time.

Now onto the really important stuff! Here we have the beautiful model, wearing Dylan’s darling top!  Yes, it’s on sale at the shop!

Smooth and sophisticated!  It was $130 and now $89! Yes, it’s a splurge, but so cute!

There are sale items throughout the boutique.  There isn’t one big sale rack.  They’re sprinkled throughout the racks, so it’s sort of like a treasure hunt!  Tomorrow, we’ll have a steaming party!  We got another fun box of clothes in today that need a little TLC.  (Don’t be jealous! Steaming clothes is not our favorite job, but it comes with the territory!)

Mr. Wonderful had me take his picture with the fishing poles.  He and Jill have fishing licenses this year and he was trying to convince her to come up and try her luck.  Stay tuned.  (I’m the kind of wimpy-wimp, that likes to find her fish at Whole Foods.  No eye balls, or unmentionables!)
