Going over a really dark color is much easier with a transition tone like Sterling by Fusion Mineral Paint! Sterling is a a super light gray furniture paint color that has lots of pigment. Using a transition tone like Sterling will cut down on the number of coats you will have to apply to the piece. Simply roll on a basecoat of Sterling and then follow-up with your desired white or other light toned furniture paint color.
Learning to use a paint roller for furniture painting will also help save you time! Using a roller can cut your painting time in half and it also leaves you with a very smooth finish. We always recommend using a Microfiber Roller like the ones we have HERE.
