Retail Therapy ( on 4th Street, in Berkeley) July 17, 2012
Every now and then, one has to put the paint brush down and have some fun!
So, I tagged along with my dear friend, Joaquin, to the big city! On our way home from San Francisco, we stopped in Berkeley and checked out the action on 4th Street, a favorite shopping destination.
Our first stop was at Rejuvenation, Classic American Lighting & House Parts. The store, which only opened 3 weeks ago is a wonderful spot, especially for home lighting!
I saw this window, at Z Gallery, and am going to try to do something similar, in my store window.
Of course, we couldn’t just walk by Anthropology, without stopping in. I just love their displays and housewares!
The last stop was a store called Paper Source and as you might guess, they sell all kinds of paper! Love it!
They used old doors, painted turquoise, for their greeting card display! And the cardboard / paper m ché letters were cool. My friend/driver used a larger version of the letters from Michael’s, sprayed with adhesive and covered with moss, for a wedding he managed. How clever my friends are!
A great day! A girl’s gotta get around, you know!
Hope you’re having a great week!,
Barbara
