It’s official! My blog has a new identity! After weeks spent working-out with the personal trainer (AKA blog designer), and cosmetic surgeon, (AKA blog designer), Transitions Home Design is in recovery after completing a major face lift.

The transformation was inspired by all of you talented, fresh faces in the blogesphere. If you’re a blogger, you know what a personal connection there is between you and your blog. For some time now, I’ve felt that the name “Transitions Home Design” sounded like a half-way house for frustrated interior designers, driven to drink. So instead of reciting the 12-steps, I gave the blog a new name and look.

“The Treasured Home” is not only how I think of my family’s home, but how most of us think of our homes…or would at least like to. And trust me, while I love sourcing new what-have-you’s, I truly understand that no matter what, the “stuff” will not lead to inner peace and tranquility or a “free pass” through the “pearly gates”, but it sure is a pleasure when it all comes together, as you had hoped and planned.

So…. I’ll continue to write about my design pursuits, here at home, on the road and with my dear clients, sharing the good times along the way. Thank you so much for joining me. I will hug you, the next time we meet!
