“Grand” Opening at Veranda Antiques! November 29, 2011
Yes! It’s only three days until The Treasured Home opens for business at Veranda Antiques and Collectables!
I wouldn’t be sleeping at night, if I wasn’t so dog-tired, from getting last minute preparations completed. And I wouldn’t be as far along as I am, without the help of Mr. Wonderful, who painted my room yesterday and is loading the truck for me right now! He’s my Mr. Fix-it, he’s my everything!
Last night I finished sewing a couple of table runners.
Yesterday, I painted a table that I’ll wax today.
I hope the “after” pictures are everything I expect them to be! I love how this little table turned out, thanks to silver “Rub & Buff”!
But, goodness knows what it will all look like, gathered together in my new home away from home! I’m thinking good thoughts and saying my prayers!
If we don’t talk before Friday, I hope you’ll have a chance to stop by for my little “Open House”, from 10-5, this Friday, at Veranda. We’re at 5916 Palm Drive, in Carmichael. If you can’t make it by for my get together on Friday, the shop will have its Holiday Open House, all day on Saturday!
Cheers!,
Barbara
Much success on your new venture Barbara. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Thanks, Jane! Are you still thinking about a place of your own…and did you keep anything fab for yourself from that amazing estate sale?
Wow, that table is gorgeous. You are so talented, I bet the shop will be gorgeous!
Oh, Mrs. Kick, you are so sweet! If you know how many hours i put into that little thing…! I’m just learning and I’ve got a long way to go. Hope you can stop by Veranda on Friday, for a glass of champagne!
Hugs,
Barbara
