Barbara finds pieces everywhere. Garage sales, Facebook Marketplace, Craig’s List, Estate Sales, Thrift shops – where ever she can find it really!
What tips does Barbara have for choosing furniture pieces to transform?
Furniture should be solid and made from wood. The piece should also shows signs of quality construction. You want all the drawers to move well and function the way it should.
Any tips for pieces with hardware?
When you purchase a piece with hardware, you first need to make sure all of it is still on the piece. Any hardware that you have to replace will cost you money. So, if you don’t want to invest in new hardware, you need to make sure it’s all there when you purchase it.
