Last week, I joined my dear friend, Karen, to learn about Impact 100. It’s a women’s organization that supports local non-profits. There are chapters around the world, but each chapter is managed locally and all monies raised, stay right here in our own community, benefitting local non-profits. There are no salaries! Hello, gorgeous! I hope you survived Sunday night’s storm, without damage! I woke up in the middle of the night and it sounded like hurricane force winds, outdoors! We did lose power, late in the afternoon, until early this morning. Fortunately, we had plenty of candles and a battery light, for roadside emergencies, that worked well. My sister had a couple of old camping lamps, that she set up, for light. What did people do before electricity? We are so spoiled…especially since this kind of weather doesn’t show up too often.
