I received my order super fast! Thanks. There is a local retailer in my area but she was unresponsive so from now on I will only order from you. You have won my business! Not only with the fast service, but you put a note in my box saying that you mix the paint with cold water. Game changer!

I have a client who found the new Artissimo color on a blog and wanted a dresser and bookcase painted that color. Well, I havent had much luck with MMSMP, its always lumpy and resembles a paste and I end up using WAAYYYY more than I do when I use ASCP, so after several failed attempts I gave up and the paint is sitting getting dusty on my self. Then my client sends me a link with the color blue she wants and to my chagrin, its milk paint. UGH! I was determined that it would not conquer me 🙂 while i waited for my order, I searched and searched and read blog after blog. I tried all the mixing techniques suggested, but each batch was lumpy and thick. DOUBLE UGH!

I painted the dresser with a coat of linen, it was lumpy bumpy and icky. Then I broke open the box with my order from you, and there was your note about using cold water. I hemmed and hawed, telling hubby, not a single blog I read suggested cold water. Well, I decided to give it a try. I put equal parts cold water and powder in a mason jar, and shook the heck out of it. When I opened the jar, the powder was all mixed perfectly and didnt stick to the jar in a lumpy mess. I did a happy dance and began painting. I loved loved loved the way the paint went on smooth and beautiful. The pigment separated a bit, but i loved the way it added depth to the piece. OMG I was so happy! Finally, I can use milk paint and be successful with it. (i have a bunch) The hemp oil made me swoon and i dont know if I can ever go back to just wax…the oil adds such a rich quality that you cant get from the wax. I’m in love! My next batch I put a little less water and it still mixed perfectly. I did stir it periodically to keep the paint mixed, since this coat I wanted a bit thicker. But it still went on like a dream. no lumps!!!

I was wondering, have you used the frothers for mixing the paint?

I used very little paint, (compared to the whole package for my last failed attempt) so the 3 packages of Artissimo will last me a good while! Thanks for everything and I will pop up your way one of these days to see your shop.
