Getting ready for our Customer Appreciation Day, this Saturday! May 10, 2022
I hope all is well, in your world, this week and that you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Mr. Wonderful asked me how I wanted to spend the day and I said, let’s go to the Sacramento Antique Fair! I hadn’t been in forever! It was a beautiful morning and I had a blast! Unlike the Alameda Antique Fair, you can walk the entire venue, in a couple of hours. (I’ve never gotten through half of the Alameda show. It’s huge, but a great lots of fun things to see.)
I’ve spent the last couple of days at the shop, sorting through my small, but mighty new treasures, found at the market and working on new displays, which is really one of my favorite things to do!
Mr. Wonderful made a new display piece, using a crate that stone was delivered to neighbors in. He wrapped the frame in old fence boards and put it on wheels. You can’t see it, with all of my stuff on it, but I love it.
It replaced this black drop leaf table, that I painted a year or two ago. It’s going to get a fresh coat of Black, before I goes on sale. I just never have enough room! If you’re in the market for a new table, let me know!
Now, where was I?…
Probably my favorite find on Sunday, was this vintage hospital baby scale!
I cleaned floors, dusted, vacuumed, took care of a few misguided spiders…the glamorous side of having a shop of your own!
See this box? Nice, eh? It’s full of the new Iron Orchid Designs product, being released for sale next Wednesday. Some really great additions. Can’t wait to show you. Just not allowed to spill the beans yet! 🙁
I’m really pooped, so I’m just going to show you a few more examples of my professional housekeeping skills and then head to dream-land!
I’d better rest up for this Saturday!
