Where Did the Week Go? May 17, 2012
This week passed so quickly, I’m not sure it really happened. The good news is that it started at the Sacramento Antique Fair on Sunday and I found a number of cool things for the shop, including this old rectangular mirror, shutters and large candle holders.
I squeezed in some Craig’s list shopping..
Doesn’t everyone need some old paneled doors? I’ve been painting, too!
This extra long side table, found at an estate sale, used to be “baby —- brown”. I like the new Annie Sloan coloring much better!
I found these two corbels at Thrift Town for $8 each. I’m just not sure my paint job was an improvement!
I found this little stool at a garage sale. Mr. Wonderful gave it a structural tune- up and I gave it a fresh coat of paint.
The nursery dropped a load of new shrubs off yesterday and they’ll get planted soon.
My workshop is still filled with furnishings from our San Francisco condo. Art, accessories and things that can’t fit into my space at Veranda. So, Saturday morning, I’ll be having a parking lot sale, at 9900 Fair Oaks Blvd., next to Bob’s Cycle Center, just east of Sunrise. The sale starts at 9 a.m. And will last till 1 or 2 p.m. I’ll be able to take credit cards, using my new “Square”! So stop by and take a peek, if you’re in the area!
I hope your week has been a great one! Thanks so much for being here!
Cheers!,
Barbara
