Santa’s coming! Plus more news from the shop! December 14, 2017
It’s true! Santa’s coming this Saturday, around 1 p.m.! You never know, with Santa. Head winds, tail winds, or some extra good girl, (like me), may hold him up, but he’s pretty dependable!
We’ve stocked up on candy canes and have the perfect spot for him, to sit and hope you’ll be able to stop by! (We’ve never had a visit before and I hope I survive! I have visions of barking dogs and children running through the shop, eating their candy canes. This may be a Xanax kind of day! But I love Santa and seeing the kids eyes get big!)
I love my very old memories of going to bed, on Christmas Eve, all squeaky clean after my bath. Dad would always read The Night Before Christmas to us and then tuck us in bed. It always took forever to go to sleep, since I was so excited! What’s your favorite memory?
Stay tuned! In the mean time, we will be returning this table to its rightful owner. This beauty has been with us forever, it seems, but it’s time to say farewell!
We’ll then have room for tonight and tomorrow night’s Paint and Sip classes!
Check out our painting for January’s Paint and Sip class, next time you’re in the shop. Really pretty!
We had a great Cookie Decorating Class last Saturday! Twelve women, including some mothers and daughters, took the class! I think we’ll schedule a couple more classes next year and start a little earlier in the season. Thank you, Kandy, for teaching the class!
A new beauty moved in recently! You know, I love old pine and this is gorgeous! All furniture is 25% Off, by the way, starting Sunday, through Christmas Eve!
If you’re like many of us, that haven’t started/finished our shopping, there’s still plenty to choose from, at The Treasured Home! (That’s our last apron, in case you want it, by the way!)
All jewelry is 25% Off, through Saturday! This includes our gorgeous Uno de 50 pieces. We got a new shipment yesterday, just in time for a customer to buy six pieces!
Our dear customer/friend, Eva, brought by some delicious chocolates, we thought we’d share!
We love this time of year! We hope you’re balancing it all and remembering the reason for the season. I have to remind myself frequently. Blessings and peace, to you and yours!
