My New Laughing Goat…(Happenings at the shop!) August 22, 2013
I have a new friend at the shop! I call him “the laughing goat”, because he looks so happy.
Today was my first full day, back at the shop. I leave, knowing that everyone’s in good hands, with Patti there! She sold a number of large pieces, while I was gone, so I did lots of re-arranging today.
Along with my new Tahoe garage sale stash, a friend is downsizing, so I bought a number of treasures from him. Yesterday and today was filled with sorting and pricing. I love bringing new things into the shop! It’s sort of like Christmas!
Did y’all see my new vintage style, customized, adult tricycle? You know you want it!
How about the vintage sign above my Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint display?
I added a number of things to my on line Paint Shop, including sample packs of milk paint. I had no idea that this would be such a popular item!
I’m trying to get ahead of things, making up samples, when there’s quiet time, at the shop.
Doesn’t my Paint Bar look pretty? I’m easily excited, but I hope it encourages our sweet customers to try the paint out, or customize colors.
Tomorrow, if the stars align properly, I’ll show you the gorgeous Votivo soy candle line that’s unpacked and on display. Plus, I’ll hopefully remember to take photos of the other new inventory!
Ann Marie worked hard to finish all the changes to the blog, last night! Yes, I know that many of you tech wizards do everything yourself, but without her, there’d be no blog! She added a Shop-the-Shop page for me, so I can display items for sale in the shop. Right now, it’s mostly furniture, but it will evolve into something closer to the on line Paint Shop, where you’ll find cook books, jewelry, grain sacks and accessories. Maybe, I’ll get promoted to the Mail Room!
As always, thanks for being here!
I love your goat…and yes, I think he is laughing! Have a great weekend! 😉
Love getting your updates!
Thanks, Valerie!
