Coping with Covid and other adventures! April 30, 2020
If anything good has come out of this shut down , it’s that I’ve had the chance to paint and create. That has been really fun!
Based upon ou r paint sales, online and curbside, I know many of you have been doing the same thing!
Before I forget, I’m planning to do a small live Facebook Live, featuring about 5 or six maxi dress styles, Friday, at 4 p.m.
They’re fun, comfortable pieces, perfect to wear to a barbecue or entertaining at home. Just go to http://www.facebook.com/thetreasuredhome
Well, the state of California now says that we can reopen May 22nd. I’m just hoping they don’t change their mind again, because I’ll be open.
We’ll most likely open with more limited hours. I’m also going to be making small changes, like having you insert your own credit card into the magic slot, etc. You’re an old pro at doing that everywhere else, so that won’t be a big deal! I have to put my thinking cap on and think of other ways I can make you feel comfortable shopping again. Suggestions are always welcome!
Until we reopen, we’ll continue to offer shipping at $4.95 on all orders, so you don’t have to leave the house.
Tregae has been the packing queen, getting orders out, as they come in. Thank you, Tregae!! People have been painting up a storm and we’re out of 6 or 7 of our 50 colors. It will take a while for Fusion Mineral Paint, to get back to pre-virus inventory levels, but they’re worth waiting for!
Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., I’ll do another Facebook Live, showing you some craft kits we’ll have available for you, in the week ahead. They make great gifts and with Mother’s Day coming up, I’m hoping you’ll find something she’ll love!
In the mean time, enjoy this slower pace of life as much as you can. It will get busy before you know it.
