Amy Howard’s One-Step Over Fabric January 23, 2014
Hello again,
I found a sweet bench recently, that had everything going for it. Great personality, nice smile…but she had a few spots on her outfit, so I just gave her a few light coats of paint!
The first two coats looked a little questionable, but the third coat did the trick! By the way, I diluted the paint about 60/40, (40 being water).
After distressing the high points, I added some dark wax and a bit-o-gold (Rub n Buff), not pictured, of course.
The fabric was in great shape, with some lovely welting, so this turned out to be a great solution!
She looks so pretty…all dolled up! Enjoy your weekend! 😉
