Hello, gorgeous!

What are you up to this weekend? I hope it’s something fun! The recent weather has been perfect for an outdoor barbecue, to celebrate Dad!

To be honest, we don’t have a lot of Dad gifts to choose from, other than some wonderful “manly” candle scents and cookbooks, if he’s handy in the kitchen….but what about these beautiful outdoor candle stakes?

I was so excited when these arrived at the shop, but I guess the love affair was one-sided, since they haven’t been selling.

I’ve had these heavy duty candle stakes “planted” by our front door since Thanksgiving and they still look brand new.  They’re about 4 feet tall and I love them! At $26, they’re about $10 below their original price and a great value. 

You could use natural wax candles in them, but I’m not a fan of leaving candles unsupervised, so our LED taper wax candles, on a timer, work for me. Either way, they create a beautiful ambiance.
