Aloha!

Greetings, from Maui!  Believe it or not, I haven’t been here in about thirty years!  What have we been waiting for? Well, it took a family wedding, of my nephew, Michael and his bride, Talia, to get us here, with three of my four siblings and our families.  It’s been a wonderful!

Above, is my sister, Susan, with Bill and her first grandson, Luke.  What a doll! There’s her daughter, Kate, Amy, my kids and their spouses.
And Bob, of course!
I wore one of our silky Shana tunics, that sort of matched Bob’s tie, I found for him, in Paris, years ago.

Here I am with daughter, Betsy. 😍 This was probably one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever attended, with the possible exception of Michael’s brother, Jack and Meredith’s wedding, a few years ago.

We got to celebrate Andrew and Nina’s baby, arriving at the end of the year, with a family dinner at our Airbnb condo, for about twenty!  We had enough food for thirty or forty.  Wish I could bring home some of the potato salad I made, when we fly home tomorrow! Not likely, though. 🙁

While the Shop Sisters have managed our Clearance Sale at the shop, I’ve had a wonderful chance to recharge my batteries with family.

Even at the end of September, it gets pretty warm during the day, so I made a point of getting out and walking early.

We were right across the street, from a path to the beach.  The condo provided these great back pack beach chairs.  What a great invention!
