Hello, friend!

What a week it has been!  To say we’ve had a few distractions is an understatement.

I’m happy that I can slip into the make-believe world at The Treasured Home, where all of the distractions are harmless.  I wish everyone could!

Not only do I have plenty of distractions, I rarely live in the present.  I learned early on, that having a retail shop means a lot of advance planning.  So, right about now, I’m getting in the holiday spirit, planning classes for the season!

Thankfully we have lots of help, from wonderful guest instructors!  I couldn’t ask for a better group of talented women, to inspire you!  Here are some highlights…

Pre-holiday, but a new class, offered by Debbie Smith, is our Harvest Banner Class. This is the third in a series, changing with the seasons.

This class will teach you about applying transfers, stamps and stencils on painted fabric.  This banner is just lovely! I don’t have a photo online yet, but the class is listed on October 23rd.

Besides Susanne’s annual Christmas Truck Paint and Sip Class, check out this beautiful Santa Tray class, taught by Kathy Pavloski!  We have a class scheduled for November 13th and December 11th!

Isn’t he just adorable?  Perfect to put a plate of cookies on, for the Big Guy!

Keeping it real!  Debbie just finished these beauties.  No pretty staging, but you can see how gorgeous these ornaments are!  What a wonderful addition this would be to your son or daughter’s tree!  This is our last class before Christmas, but just in time for gift giving.

Fortunately, I avoid political commentary here, but I told Mr. Wonderful that when all is said and done and fire season is behind us, I think we should have a parade for our amazing firefighters!  God bless each and every one of them!
