I hope your September has gotten off to a wonderful  start!

Before I remind you about our French Tour 2019, Meet & Greet and share  upcoming events at the Shop, it’s time for “true confessions”!  

Last week, when I was wrapping up my class calendar, for the fall, I was short a picture, for our Painted Bench Class, coming up.

So what did I do?  I found a photo on Facebook that I liked, cropped off the “watermark”, and never gave the creators credit, for their work.

Kind of slimey, eh?  Yep and I was caught red handed!  Jodi Perry  and Trent Krahl, out of Gainesville, TX, own the Wooden Poppy Design Company.  They host lots and of great creative workshops, including one for the bench above.

If you’ve been wanting to travel to Provence, on a Vintage Shopping Trip, with a dozen of your soon-to-be best girl friends, join us Friday night, to meet our local girl and tour guide, Jill Mitchell!

Jill is living the dream! She lives half of the year in Provence and the other half, here in Sacramento.  She speaks fluent French and knows where all the vintage treasures are found, in the south of France!

This will be my third tour, with Jill M.  Jill C., our manager, has also joined us.  We can’t wait to do it again!

While many of us extended our trip, last May, traveling to Paris and beyond, my friend Karen and I were content to stay in our centrally located, charming hotel and walk the friendly streets, museums, shops, markets and cafes in Aix en Provence.
