Barbara’s Top Paint Roller Tips:
Use the right paint roller! It is very important that you use a roller that won’t leave a bumpy texture or “nap” on your finished furniture pieces. Barbara recommends you use the paint rollers sold at The Treasured Home or HERE in the Online Fusion Mineral Paint Store. These roller are specifically designed for smooth surfaces.
Dampen your roller cover before starting to paint.
Be sure to “off-load” your paint after applying it to the roller. This will keep your paint layers thin & even.
Start with the sides of your piece. You are going to use the roller on all the flat surfaces.
Let your first coat dry for an hour or more before applying more coats.
