Have you even dared to think about gifting, this fast-approaching holiday season?

A family I know, agreed to make their gifts for one another, last year. It sounded like they all put a lot of thought and creativity, into their gifts.

I have saved a few of the classroom gifts, my kids made for me, when they were little.  Anything someone makes for me, even today, is cherished.  Like the beaded bracelet my sister just made for me.

It’s pretty, with its soft pink beads.  But, what’s even better, is that my sister took the time to make this for me, touching each bead. Sweet.

So, I thought, wouldn’t it be great to spend a day, making gifts, you can proudly share with family or friends?  And wouldn’t it be great to have a blast, while doing it? Well, here you go!

Craft-O-Rama 2017!

We’ll start the day at 9 a.m., getting settled, grabbing a cup of coffee and seeing the shop, dressed for Christmas!

9:30 – Holiday Cookie Decorating.  You’ll take home cookies and be ready to recreate more, at home!

10:30 – Appliquéd Guest Hangers – Create beautiful clay appliqués, to adorn guest hangers you’ve painted and gilded.

12:00 – Lunch served family style at my favorite Siam Patio, three doors down the street.

1:00 – Sign Making- We’ll start by layering paint colors, sealing and then attaching your chosen (one of six) rusty word to your painted board.  Voila!

2:00 – Stenciled Pillow Cover:  Learn all about fabric painting, with Amy Howard’s One Step Paint and then stencil (your choice) your own 20 x 20″ pillow cover.

 It seems like everyone is talking about the health benefits of essential oil’s lately. Our expert, Monica, has been using essential oils, to keep her family healthy for the last 25 years. Here  at the shop, we are trying to pace ourselves, with all of the wonderful holiday celebrations ahead! We thought that we would make a celebration out of bringing Christmas to the shop, by having a Christmas tree lighting party. We will also be showing off our new gift arrivals! I am so excited about them and hope you are too!

Last but not least, we are offering a class, to show you how to transform a picture or mirror frame, you have in your home. We will be going through all of the steps, That you would use to paint a piece of furniture, including our aging dust, that adds about 50 years of history to any restoration project.
