Have you gotten this month’s stash of furniture catalogs? Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Ballards…the list goes on.  They are all still showing painted furniture.  It’s been popular for years now!

I look at their prices though and know why so many of us are restoring our own well made vintage and antique, real wood pieces, for a fraction of the cost!

Don’t forget about our next Vintage Market, Sunday, May 22nd!  We’ve had two new vendors move in and we’re all bringing in treasures you’ll love!  Mr. Wonderful will be grilling (complimentary) hamburgers, too! 🍔

Classes:  

May and June classes are posted on the blog. If you have wanted to take our Cabinet Painting class, check out the class on May 7th.  This will be our last cabinet class until September!

Local artist, Anne Campbell, will be teaching art classes at The Treasured Home!  No art background is required!  She will also be the featured artist, for our Meet the Artist event.  Dates will be announced soon!

New Project Class!: Painted Wooden Box, using Chalk Style Paints and Waxes

Saturday, June 11th at 1 P.M., $65.00

I often hear people say “I don’t have anything to wear paint! Well, now you do!

Small, but mighty, this class will teach you everything you’ll need to know, when you tackle a larger project on your own. Plus, we’ll provide a step-by-step reference guide, to take home, along with your cute wooden box!

This is by far, our most popular class! Since I will be spending as much time as possible, up at the lake, in July and August, this will be our last class, until September!
