Shop News: Covid Restrictions and Our End of Year Sale December 9, 2020
Hello once again!
By now you’ve probably heard that Sacramento county’s ICU numbers are elevated and that some businesses will not be able to operate for at least the coming three weeks. Retail businesses, like The Treasured Home, will be able to operate, at a reduced 20% capacity.
This new mandate goes into effect, at around midnight on Thursday, December 10th. We’ll have a chance to offer the last of two Santa board classes, Thursday evening. If you’ve signed up, I hope you’ll join us!
____________
I haven’t been able to determine how a business’ capacity is determined. Until I get that information, I’m going to rely on common sense as I venture into uncharted territory.
Please do your best to be patient as you always are. If we do have customers waiting to enter the shop, we’ll do our best to keep their wait as short as possible. Please do what you can to help as well. Rest assured, we will strive to serve you as quickly and safely as possible.
_____________
Our Sale will run through December 24th and we’re still getting new inventory. Everything in our workshop and boutique will be 20% off, except for Christmas, which will be 40% off.
(Brighton doesn’t allow retailers to discount their product, so that will not be on sale. Leticia’s topiaries will not be on sale either. Her regular prices are very reasonable and I encourage you to check them out!)
So, there you have it! With a vaccine in the not too distant future, I’m hoping we can put this unforgettable year behind us, very soon.
Until we meet again, say your prayers and wash your hands!
I am going to come out to the shop before long…. and I hope this COVID nightmare won’t hurt your Christmas business !!!! I love your Blog…. always well done :- )
I am washing my hands and saying my prayers …..
