Small Business Saturday is this weekend!

Small Business Saturday is one of our favorite days of the year!  We love it so much, that we extended the celebration to Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

I’ll be sharing more event details in the days to come, but one of our favorite traditions, on Small Business Saturday, is to show you how to your create your own custom-printed tea towel, using Iron Orchid Designs’ stamps and inks.

We’ll roll out the red carpet for you and your friends, offering sweets, treats and specials! The shop will be packed with all sorts of new arrivals, so we hope you’ll be able to stop by!  Remember, extra parking is available at our good neighbors, next door, Bob’s Cycle Center.

Well, dear one, I hope you’ll give yourself and everyone around you, some extra love this Thanksgiving! I’m reminding myself that it’s not what’s on the table, but the people around it. I’m not going to stress about trying to be Martha Stuart, because there’s only one Martha and it isn’t me!  Don’t tell anyone, but I’m serving frozen Marie Calendar pies, for dessert!  I’ll manage to bake them in the oven, but I’m not a pie baker, so why should I pretend? I’m reminding myself that how I make those I cherish feel, inside our home, is the most important thing to remember.  I may have to borrow some of Micah’s calming CBD oil, but I vote now, that we give ourselves some extra slack, on what can be an overwhelming day, full of great expectations!
